A former judge, Dharmasena Yakandawela, has had over thirty years in the legal field, practicing both as a lawyer and a judge. With hundreds of cases under his belt, Dharmasena is a lawyer you can trust to seek the outcome that is in your best interest.

Alongside his experience as a lawyer, Dharmasena is involved in the community in many ways. He sits on the Joint Family Court & Youth Justice Committee. His involvement within the community is completely voluntary and he aims to provide the best service he can to the community around him. Dharmasena seeks to make serious constitutional change in Sri Lanka as well through publishing’s in the newspapers in Sri Lanka. His most recent television appearance has gotten worldwide attention within the Sri Lankan community with his television appearance receiving over a million views.

In addition, Vancity Credit Union featured Dharmasena in their magazine for the change he made using Vancity’s microloan program. Through the use of the microloan, Dharmasena seeked to provide support for those wanting to Immigrate to Canada from countries such as Sri Lanka, Iran, Ghana, Saudi Arabia and many other countries.
